YOUNG FOLK event & AFTER-PARTY FOR OUTSIDER ART FAIR
On May 8, 2014 Young Folk will host the After-Party of the Outsider Art Fair opening night on the rooftop of the former DIA: Chelsea at 548 W. 22nd Street.
After-Party guests, collectors, and museum supporters will be granted first access to the Outsider Art Fair during the “vernissage” preview from 6-9 PM.
From 9-11 PM, guests will move to the tented rooftop for the After-Party: a celebration under the stars with a view of downtown Manhattan and the Hudson River. The After-Party will feature specialty cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and music by DJ Vikas Sapra.

| FOOD FIGHT BENEFIT PARTY: MAY 8 Join FoodFight.org at the West 83rd Street Loft next month for a night of charitable giving and live art battles, at their 4th Annual Charity Gala. Redeemer Loft 150 West 83rd Street Thursday, May 8th, 2014 7-10pm FoodFight is a NYC based non-profit whose mission is to revolutionize the way we eat and think about food. Using schools as a platform, FoodFight arms teachers, students and school staff with the tools and knowledge they need to make healthier choices and become role models and agents of change for their families and communities. As in years past, this is no rubber chicken dinner. Graffiti artists curated by ArtsBattles.com will take the floor to create art during a live "battle," the resulting pieces of which will be auctioned live on-site later in the evening. Proceeds from the evening will go towards a desperately needed intervention that can dramatically improve the health, well-being and life chances of hundreds of students, teachers and their families.
