• We are putting our annual Super star awards and Christmas party together . This year like we did before we pick a family from the homeless shelter . Instead of giving each other gifts we pick one member of the family and we buy gifts for them. It starts off as an office party and the family is invite through a mutual friend . We hand out fun and inspiring awards to our staff and friends as well as our volunteers . I know a person who works at the shelter and each year she picks a family that touches everyone's heart . I asked her for this years super star and this was the reply she sent me. We have a family we house recently It is a grandma, a 16 yr old son, a 14 yr old daughter, a 22 year old daughter who is pregnant , and that daughters 3 yr old daughter. This family was homeless for over 3 years and this past February with the assistance of ^$%&%^* , got house In March grandma lost her 23 yr old daughter to sickle-cell and it took a month to raise money to bury her:( all her daughter wanted was for her family to have a home and for them be all together. That wish came.through! Now I want you to help me make my wish come true. I want this Christmas to be a little special to struggling deserving family . The party is this Sunday at unit A in North Hollywood , Unit A Meeting Hall 10641 Burbank Blvd.// Sunday 22nd at 7:30 pm Cahuenga Blvd. There will be food and fun. This party is open to everyone . If you would like to bring a gift to one of the family members please facebook me and let me know which member you want to buy for . The family will need lots of new born pampers as well. Please come out and support our effort . It will be a pot luck so please feel welcome to bring a dish as well. Thank you for reading and we wish you a Merry Christmas.
