Judith Greenwald
Judith Becker Greenwald is developing her place in the art world with the same sensitivity and drive she exhibited in her first career. As psychoanalyst and analytic supervisor, she founded and was first Executive Editor of the esteemed journal, Psychoanalytic Perspectives. Always interested in making art, she has returned to this passion. She brings the creativity, reverence for life and intuition she has cultivated during these many years. Her playfulness and earnestness inform her sensuous and
joyful paintings.
Nick Byer
Nick Byer grew up in Nassau Bahamas. The tropical landscape and expressive culture ignited his spirited style. He also cites the film Basquiat by fellow artist Julian Schnabel as the major influence in his art career. I loved his approach to art, the boldness he never seemed to hold anything back it was in essence limitless. stars is very reflective in my work
Byer got his big break in Miami Florida when the owner of Pronto Frame and Fine Art Inc exhibited his work for a group exhibition.
For the last 10 years he has exhibiting in Miami, Los Angles and New York. Known for his abstract pieces and pop art. His work is in numerous private and corporate collections around the world.
Byers pieces radiate with passion, spontaneity, beauty and capture the limitless energy of life. His influences are Basquiat, De Kooning Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollack, Vincent Van Gogh and Mr. Brainwash and Amos Ferguson.
Adrienne Numaworse
Joshua Sanchez
I was born in Brooklyn on July 30th 1993.
I consider my work to be structural embodiments of different emotions, situations, experiences, reactions, and people among other things. Things that are of interest to me are: The concept of eternity, Asylums, mental disorders, and things considered taboo in general. When i start a piece I never know what I'm going to make at first but as I keep working i get different ideas as to where I want to take the piece and in the end it alI comes together for me when I have a solid image and I get a general understanding of what I feel the piece means to me. I use varying mediums, 2 of the more prominent being oil pastels and acrylic paint.
Words I've heard being used to describe my work are :
Aliens, monsters, demons, and modern day mythological creatures.
Murjani Holmes
Murjani Holmes id a visual Artist, who works largely with acrylic paint on various painting surfaces. She has exhibited in and worked with local artists groups in Richmond, VA and Brooklyn, NY and has a strong desire to grow and collaborate with other up and coming artists. Murjani has a degree in Fashion design which has very much influenced her work so there is a big focus on color, and prints. The urge to create has been very strong in her life sine she was a child and as she puts it "My art is a reflection of that place where my mind goes today and has always gone since I was a child. I love color and still have the ability to look at the clouds and see shapes."
Cathey Ambush
I started off by stealing ink pens from my father's briefcase and clandestinely doodle-bombing the undersides of coffeetables.
Soon, I was graffiti'ing the school playground with crayons, a crime that quickly earned me a day's worth of latrine duty. Despite all the weird looks and angry nuns, though, I kept drawing on anything I could get a hold of: clothes, bags, books, desks, walls, etc.
Fast forward 30 years, and here I am today: still doodling, still painting, and still determined to get art out to the masses.
I don't have a fancy background, and I'm not interested in impressing the art critics. I do this because if I don't, I will shrivel up and die.
I'm driven by that amazing feeling I get when I find art that kicks me on my ass. I'm addicted to that tingling euphoria of discovery and inspiration. And because it's so great, I want others to enjoy it too.
The best success for me is having others enjoy my work. What kills that joy? When I hear folks say they can't afford art. That destroys me.
So I want to destroy that paradigm. I want to destroy all the traditional wisdom I've had thrown my way. My goal is to keep my art accessible and affordable for everyone. Art is meant to go beyond gallery walls. It's meant to be enjoyed by all. Plain and simple.
And it circles back to my original statement: I love art.
Michael Cuomo
My artwork is an instinctive response of emotional states of being. A spiritual quest towards self expression and higher learning.
Jewelry by Alanna Bess
Alanna Bess was a little girl making ceramics and string bracelets. She found her love later in life, and in 2002 she was inspired to create one-of-a-kind jewelry designs. Building upon the experience as a sales person in the retail womens fashion industry, Alanna Bess developed a keen understanding of
what women wanted. Her designs gained instant popularity and were showcased in many of New England's highest-end boutiques.
Alanna Bess' studies at Northeastern University brought her to a semester abroad in 2004 where she became immersed in the arts and culture of Florence, Italy. The influence of Italian designers empowered Alanna Bess to an even bolder sense of style and sophistication. In 2005, an internship led Alanna Bess to New York City's fashion district. Her talents were recognized by several fashion innovators. Alanna Bess was then launched in 2007 in
New Yorks famous Henri Bendel store on Fifth avenue.
Her experience working in retail and a reverence for the artistry of Florentine designers inspired Alanna Bess to found her eponymous line of jewelry in 2002. Besss work centers around statement-making semi-precious stones like geodes, amethysts, and turquoise, and has been sported by such celebs as Rihanna and Anne Hathaway. Generous clusters of gemstones provide
a considerable sparkle quotient, but ethereal designs keep pieces daytimeappropriate.
