Photo: Ben Berlow                           BEN BERLOW 2013 Steep Rock Arts Association Artist-in-Residence Reception: Saturday, November 16th, 4 – 6 pm Steep Rock Arts Association 9 Potash Hill Road  Washington, CT 06793 On behalf of Steep Rock Arts Association, Rawson Projects invites you to a reception in honor of Ben Berlow, the 2013 Artist-in-Residence and Grant Recipient on Saturday, November 16th from 4 – 6 pm. Located on a 100-acre estate, surrounded by rolling hills, working farms and protected lands, Steep Rock Arts Association is a program designed to provide emerging visual artists and curators with time, space and professional guidance to explore their work in a supportive, thriving, artistic environment. Ben Berlow (b. 1980, Los Angeles, CA) lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. In January 2014, Berlow’s work will be included in the group exhibition The Lightning Speed of the Present at the 808 Gallery at Boston University. The artist been exhibited widely in New York at venues such as Feature Inc., James Fuentes LLC, Jack Hanley, Martos Gallery, among others. In 2011, Berlow was the subject of a one-person exhibition at Rawson Projects, which was reviewed by Artforum and had his second solo exhibition with the gallery earlier this year.
