Wednesday . . NYC . .

    • 7:00pm until 10:00pm

  • Our Annual Gala is the most exciting time of the year for United Colors of Fashion (UCOF) as we celebrate the last year and recognize exceptional individuals for their contributions philanthropically and to the arts. UCOF is excited to present our 3rd international runway show featuring seven renowned designers from around the world, including David Tlale, Naked Ape by Shaldon Kopman, Ron & Ron, and Sukeina. Jan Malan is our show’s Producer, Sandi Bass is our Casting Director, and Seth Howard is our Stylist.

We are also extremely proud to showcase the first collection of our top fashion student and Achiever of the Year, Sade Solomon, in a fashion installation. This year, our 2013 Annual Gala will honor Pat Cleveland, the legendary supermodel, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. We are also excited to have Devyn, winner of “THE FACE” modeling reality show, as our gala’s International Fashion Ambassador. The night will feature a dance presentation by Steps on Broadway as well as the opportunity to put on your own dancing shoes as the dance floor opens with our gala DJ.

Our theme “FAITH. HOPE. FASHION.” perfectly encapsulates what United Colors of Fashion believes in. We remain FAITHFUL that our mission will launch the careers of our interns, while we provide HOPE for their futures and the children in Soweto, South Africa through the transformative medium of FASHION. That is what UCOF is all about. The proceeds generated by the gala’s ticket sales and 100% of donations will be used to fund the costs of running our programs for another year.

Join us for an evening to remember as we celebrate our mission to Empower Youth through Fashion.

    • 7:00pm until 10:00pm
  • CBGB Fest 2013 and Wooster Street Social Club Present a group photo show with prints by Gotham Imaging

"CBGB's may be gone, but it is certainly not forgotten. This October, in conjunction with Gotham Imaging and CBGB Fest 2013, The Wooster Street Social Club Gallery will be hosting a photography showcase that celebrates the places, people, and artists surrounding the New York music culture that has been lost in today's atmosphere of "progress". Featuring over 20+ active professional music photographers, this show will be the lexicon of the New York music scene, documenting the moments that can never be re-created, and continuing the tradition championed by music-photographers of the past-- creating new legacies of moments that might otherwise be overlooked.

The venue, the capacious Wooster Street Social Club, a 4000+ sq foot event space, art gallery, television set to TLC's hit tv show, NY INK, and tattoo studio is the perfect place to showcase the exhibition featuring New York's underground music scene in the form of iconic photography, due to its focus on merging art, culture, media, and entertainment."

Featuring Work by David Andrako, Jason Bergman, Jacob Blickenstaff, Abbey Braden Raymonde, Greg Cristman, Guy Eppel, Ernest Estime, Amanda Hatfield, Chad Kamenshine, Roger Kisby, Chris La Putt, Sacha Lecca, Jessica Rose Lehrman Lehrman, Griffin Lotz, Jen Maler, Ryan Muir, Gabi Porter, Kyle Dean Reinford, Jackie Roman, Tod Seelie, Rebecca Smeyne, Loren Wohl, Dana (distortion) Yavin, Ebru Yidliz, and Kathryn Yu.

The exhibit will run from October 9th through November 1st.
