  • 3 Days and 2 Nights of Parties!

    Masterbeat presents:
    MEMORIAL WEEKEND LOS ANGELES

    Basic Training 7
    Masterbeat: The Club: 15th Anniversary
    Military Pool Party at The Standard Downtown LA

    Host Hotel
    ---------------
    The Standard Downtown LA
    Call 866-670-8686 and mention "Masterbeat" for our discounted room rates.

    First, for the first time in history, Masterbeat is taking over our favorite nightclub, The Mayan on a Saturday night! Do not miss the 7th annual Basic Training with DJ Abel for his traditional legendary all night set, from beginning to end - a musical journey at LA's #1 venue, kicking off Saturday night of our special extended weekend. The club opens at 9 am and stays open until you're done dancing! This will be a marathon!

    Then, on Sunday we're excited to present a once in a lifetime event - a return to Masterbeat: The Club. The first Masterbeat: The Club launched at the legendary Probe nightclub in Los Angeles in the summer of 1998. Held semi-annually, the event had lines around an entire city block until well after 4 am as people waited to get into the packed club.

    The party was eventually moved to Circus Disco where the launch event packed over 2000 people into a regular Saturday night.

    Famous for its visuals and musical journey's, Masterbeat The Club eventually became the annual Masterbeat New Year's Event.

    For this special limited event, we're excited to return to the incredible Belasco Theater for a special "15th Anniversary" where DJ's Brett Henrichsen and Micky Friedmann will take you on a trip down memory lane with the hits that made Masterbeat famous, along with current dance floor anthems of course!

    But it doesn't end there! Masterbeat is excited to cap the Memorial Weekend off with our debut at the famous rooftop pool of The Standard in downtown Los Angeles. Voted one of LA's finest roof top pools and a favorite place of frolic for celebrities like Britney Spears, The Standard pool will be serving up military beats from DJ Roland Belmares while you relax, sip cocktails or dance in the sun.

    What better way to recover from two nights of incredible dance parties than to cap it all off with a day in the sun on the hotel roof!

    Tickets and discounted weekend passes are on sale now, visitwww.masterbeat.com for more information.

  • That naughty (.)(.) Sister PantyChrist is back for another godly bank holiday Sunday. She's got new mates, she's back on the ciggies, looking sluttier than ever and is even closer to Mary Magdalene than ever before.

    +++ DJ PAULETTE +++

    A DJ who grew up, literally, around clubs and DJs in Manchester, DJ Paulette went on to a residency at the Haçienda and a musical journey that has taken her to Paris and now Ibiza. 2013 is about new UK residencies and a change in creative direction for our Paulette, who’s keeping everyone on their toes.

    +++ NIMMO & THE GAUNTLETTS+++

    The band have been tipped as ones to watch for their melancholic brand of understated guitar and raw vocals. They have recently supported Man Like Me and Molotov Jukebox amongst others, as well as selling out headline shows around London and the UK.

    +++ CATHAL +++

    Aka CocoaPartyBoy and joint creator of the London PS. party collective. Playing high points from his favourite genres, Chicago to New York House, Deep n sleazy, special 90's to present London vibes - his tag line "COME FOR FUN" speaks volumes about his party intentions.
    We've seen him guest at BLOCHEADS, HECTIC, PARIS ACID BALL and most recently smash it up on a regular monthly basis in the TapAss room at DISH (East Bloc) - all an integral part to London's underground nightlife.
    CATHAL loves sleazy bassline, vocal high points + SMART hooks.

    +++ ELENA COLOMBI+++

    Self-registered free spirit and accidental collector of travel stamps, Elena Colombi invaded the London scene some years ago armed with nothing but a love of music and a toothbrush. In that time she's whisked up something of a storm, scoring a residency at "BREED" and setting up her own shindig "Abattoir". And as if her unstoppable DJing flightpath needed any more help, the future promises live sets with a buddy and a series of exclusive afterparties. Y'know, 'cos her diary isn't quite packed enough.
