| Thursday, May 9th celebrates the 25th anniversary of Wine Enthusiast Magazine with an event beyond all expectation. "The Red and White Bash" will bring to life La Belle Époque and old Paris in a resplendent carnival setting. Featuring an all-star program of the best wines in the world, immersive set design, a 12-person jazz orchestra, great food, and interactive performances to charm guests as they step into our world.
The night of…as guests approach the Hudson Hotel they will hear a lone accordionist heralding the way into an evening to remember. As guests descend the stairs, fabulously costumed staff will hand them an empty wine glass as they guide the guests through the archway of the Montmartre into a Parisian street scene of carnival tents and water-colored lanterns. Over 36 wine producers will be pouring some of the best wines in the world, all 90pts and above. Down below in the town square, the scene will open up into one of revelry and celebration led by Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra (of Jazz-Age Lawn Party fame). High above the heads of those who swing, shake, and shimmer on the dance floor, a beautiful aerialist, perched upon a moon will enchant, dropping origami-folded love notes by parachute to her admirers below. Guests will be able to document the frivolity of the night through roaming courtesans with take-home polaroids or sketch portraits, as will our boudoir photo booth by award-winning photographer, Venitko.
Our event, like the iconic cabarets of the past, embodies the frenzied height of the Belle Epoque era, the center of beauty, art, glamour, and decadent pleasure.
Tickets are all-inclusive and are available for $65 if you follow this link-http://redandwhitebash.eventbrite.com/?access=WE25RWFB
