WOMEN’S EDUCATION PROJECT BENEFIT ON MAY 23


The Women's Education Project currently operates four centers in Southern India helping young women fight poverty through academic support, career preparation and personal development. The programs provide critical skills to young women who are living on just $1—$2 a day and are at risk of succumbing to the cycle of poverty without help. Each student needs just $21 per month for access to invaluable skills and for the first time in New York City on May 23rd you can help. For the price of just one ticket, you can sponsor a young woman for one year of life altering education.
 
Our goal is to fund 2 years of education for 100 students.
 
Your generosity will not go unrewarded, the Fundraiser Event for Women's Education Project will feature a fashion show by Betsey Johnson, the designer revisits her closet to show never seen before vintage pieces and will sashay down the runway-Bollywood style.
 
The evening will continue with comedy performances by Sandra Bernhard and Taylor Negron and a dance performance by Rioult. Please join us! The invitation is attached.

CENTER FOR TRADITIONAL MUSIC & DANCE 45^TH ANNIVERSARY
 
The Center for Traditional Music and Dance 45th Anniversary "Treasures and Traditions" Benefit Dinner and Dance Party will be held at the Edison Ballroom on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. The Edison Ballroom is at 240 West 47th Street in Manhattan. Tickets are $250 per person (which includes cocktails, dinner, and entertainment), and tables are priced at $2500, $5000, and $10,000.
