  PART TIME OFFICE MANAGER & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

POSITION AVAILABLE:  Part Time Office Manager for Professional Speaker/Consultant.

HOURS:  Flexible – approx. 10-20 hours per week.

LOCATION: West Village in Manhattan. (A few projects can be completed from home; the majority will take place at the West Village studio.)
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
An exciting opportunity for someone to connect with a myriad of industries (professional speaking, event coordinating, social media, product development, the performing arts, etc.) and to be part of the support system for a highly busy individual. You will work directly with the Production Manager as well as the speaker. Your responsibilities will include in part:
  • Assisting Production Manager with arranging/booking/managing travel schedule
  • Maintaining and updating data base
  • Paying office bills, coordinating with accountant, organizing and filing receipts
  • Managing office inventory and office equipment (printer, scanner, shredder, etc)
  • Researching technology, software and products
  • Filing and labeling documents
  • Product packaging and shipment
  • Light graphic design of articles, brochures, products, etc.
  • Occasional personal errands
SKILLS REQUIRED:
High-level organizational skills; Exceptional grammar, spelling and writing skills a must; High attention to detail; Mac Proficient; Ability to self motivate and work solo; Ability to work as part of a team and act with grace under pressure; Interest in working in a fast moving, fun, intense atmosphere. Positive, joyous outlook on life a must.
ADDITIONAL BONUS SKILLS: Marketing, Audio/Video Editing, Copywriting, Advanced Knowledge of Computers/Technology, Web/Graphic Design, Advanced Social Media Skills, QuickBooks, Daylite.
