Tamar-kali is a Brooklyn-based composer, vocalist and guitarist who has garnered prominent acclaim from both North American and European audiences. She followed up her critically acclaimed EP, 2005’s Geechee Goddess Hardcore Warrior Soul EP with 2010’s full-length Black Bottom. In 2011, she and her original music appeared in the award-winning film, Pariah. www.tamar-kali.com.
MilitiA Vox is a singer, songwriter and musician with an extensive Background. She has VJ'ed, hosted and guest starred on FUSE, Much Music USA, MTV2 and VH1 and regularly hosts live events in the NYC area. She is currently a contributor to Afropunk.com and has performed with Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) in Van Helsing’s Curse and Dee Does Broadway. MilitiA is the front woman for Judas Priestess, the world's only all-female Judas Priest tribute band, founder and lead vocalist of hard rock band Swear On Your Life and a solo artist. www.militiaismyname.com.
Kudisan Kai sang for six years with Elton John, and toured with rock legends such as the Rolling Stone and Eric Clapton. She has also toured extensively with Chaka Khan, and performed with Sting, Saliva, Joe Cocker, Mary J. Blige, and many others. She left the road to join the faculty of the renowned Berklee College of Music, where she has created a curriculum on women in rock. Kudisan is currently working on a new CD entitled, "Transcend". Her debut CD, Confessions has been described as an incredible mix of deeply personal lyrics, blaring heavy metal guitar riffs and earth shattering vocals. |
