OPEN CALL FOR CinemaSunday!
Arts in Bushwick announces CinemaSunday, Bushwick OpenStudios's first official film festival.
We have started our open call for video works in three categories: Documentary, Narrative, and Experimental. Our Documentary showcase will emphasize works centered around themes of transition in the neighborhood and related areas. Submissions are open to all artists, with an emphasis placed on Bushwick based artists, and works relevant to issues in the community. All submissions must be received by April 19.
We have teamed up with Bushwick Film Festival to highlight new works from video artists and filmmakers based in the Bushwick area, through our open call based public programing. CinemaSunday will take place Sunday, June 2 at Bat Haus, to be followed by the official BOS '13 closing party.
