Suite Bar and Lounge
This July 21st, portrait photographer Kevin Nelson Dao will contribute work to Suite Bar's ongoing Suiteart Project, an initiative launched by bartender Joseph Mulholland to promote up-and-coming New York artists, writers, and performers.
In his current series, Kevin has invited men through the gay dating network, Grindr, to pose for a free, professional shoot. Giving them no direction, the artist's challenge is to uncover when his model feels at ease, when his expression is most natural.
The photography will be available for sale.
This is a no cover event, and the bar will be serving Happy Hour drinks throughout the show. Come drink and be merry Monday, July 21st from 6-10PM.
