This year marks the 33rd running of this festive collaboration between NYRR and Front Runners New York, a competitive and social club for LGBT runners, multisport athletes, and their allies. Join more than 5,000 runners and show your pride at this five-mile run in Central park. Last year, this race—a marathon qualifier—sold out, so be sure to register early. Whether you’re a top racer or a novice looking for a healthy run and some good camaraderie, the Pride Run delivers the goods

This year, a portion of the proceeds benefits the Anti-Violence Project, an organization which empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and HIV-affected communities and allies to end all forms of violence through organizing and education, and supports survivors through counseling and advocacy

Saturday June 28th 10-3PM West End Arts presents the second Long Beach Boardwalk Art Project "Home Sweet Home" painting event.

Paint a piece of the original boardwalk, your block will be added in the community mural that is set to be on display at our sponsor place of business and finally at a location in the city (we are proposing Edwards at the boardwalk between the entrance ramps). It will consist of 10 2x2 panels made up of different size pieces of wood, as seen in the picture and at the event.

What to do?? Show up and have FUN!
Paint what HOME means to you (Barrier Island-such as bay, beach, activities, name your street, inspiring words etc) There will be people there to assist you! NO experience needed, sit and have fun with your neighbors.

What not to do? Write your name, your personal information, if you have we have the right to remove this from your block, nothing personal but we have to follow our own rules!

But I want to!!! Sure you can with a donation, $50 will allow you to write your name/family name, this will help us complete the project with your donation.

What to know: We are using house paint, wear appropriate clothing or be careful! We will have gloves if you need them.

Kids: Kids under 3 or that don't want to help you paint can paint with washable paints on wind chimes! This way you can paint your piece and have them add to it as you want. Up to you!

ONE piece per household only.

We are asking people that have NOT painted at the previous event to attend.

Raffles, we will have raffles from Olive Oils, Lido Kosher Deli, LB Craft Store!
