LUCA BACCHETTI
Crosstown Rebels / All Day I Dream / Culprit
Not un-humorously hailing from the small Tuscan town of Lucca in Italy, as one of the foremost proponents of the seminal swing sound coming from the peninsula and abroad, Luca Bacchetti can be considered a true citizen of the world. His web pages and logs reveal the attentive sensitivity towards the many places he has visited and invariably he brings these experiences to life in his music. Currently residing in Barcelona, HQ of his own label ENDLESS, the DJ, producer makes swift business of spreading his signature twists and musical turns through myriad productions and remixes released on labels such as Ovum Recordings, Crosstown Rebels, Wagon Repair, Culprit, All Day I Dream,Saved, Be As One, Defected, Snatch!, Hideout, Sci+Tec and Supernature. Additionally, he’s accrued a host of accolades including a nod for Beatport as best artist in 2008 that confirms Luca’s status as an industry leader. As a DJ, Bacchetti’s style is incomparable, showcasing his unique ear for selection and a rare ‘voice’ to which he adds a sexiness uncommon amongst his peers. Equally versed at moving a dark basement club to fits of revelry as he is to casting a deep shadow across a sunny beach party, the breadth and depth of sources from which Luca culls his sets astounds constantly. It is this duality of emotion that interests the DJ and inspires the work on many releases. The contrasting shades of Luca’s sound have not been lost on the world’s clubbing masses. Worldwide venues like Womb, Fabric, Circoloco DC10, Cielo, Panorama Bar, Arma 17, La Huaka, D-Edge, Pacha BA have hosted the DJ to untempered excitement and have been converted to the light of the darker and brighter sides of his sound.

MARK SLEE
House-Heads / Listed / Cityfox
Mark Slee is a resident DJ and co-founder of House-Heads, a San Francisco collective throwing unique underground and private events focused on forward-thinking dance music. He is also one half of Manju Masi, a collaboration with long-time partner in crime Atish.
Living in San Francisco since 2005, Mark has evolved a style of DJing that uniquely reflects his personality. Technical and introspective, he brings a thoughtful approach to constructing sets that tickle both mind and soul, at the same time topping things off with a healthy dose of groovy, quirky fun. Understanding audio to be one avenue of a larger experience, 2011 has seen him return to original production, crafting custom-tailored tracks for the unique events he produces with House-Heads, often complementing them with interactive LED sculptures that he also creates.
We welcome Mark for his first ebb + flow & TBA Brooklyn appearance!
