PROJECT HAPPY SWIM-A-THON

Saturday, October 5
10:00am-3:00pm

Hunter College
425 East 25th Street

Project HAPPY's mission is to promote the well-being of New York City's children, youth and young adults with disabilities by providing them with individual and team sports and recreational activities. In doing so, we aim to impart improved physical health, social skills, and self-confidence in those who are often marginalized as a result of their impairments. Additionally, we strive to advocate for, and provide awareness of, the needs of urban children, youth and young adults who have disabilities. The after party will be hosted by Kevin at Fitzgerald's Pub at 336 Third Ave at 25th St starting at 4pm.

Here is the deal: Last year I raised over $5,000 and for every $1,000 I raise I will swim 10 laps so our goal is at least $5,000 which would mean I am swimming 50 LAPS. (gulp)

This is no joke: the Columbia men’s swim team will be there (in their Speedos) counting my laps and keeping me honest. Every cent you donate will go directly to Project Happy which runs almost entirely on private donations and volunteers. It’s one of the most incredible programs I have ever been privileged to be a part of and I encourage everyone to come out not only to cheer me on but to see the program first hand.

To donate: I will be taking donations by hand. Please feel free to make a pledge over email and send a check through the mail. All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a letter after the event.

Please make all checks out to:
“Project HAPPY”

Please mail lots of big checks to:
