White Box is excited to present Axial Music tomorrow night as part of its summer exhibition series Beach Box, which is ending in three days! Join us to experience this unique performance by
David Arner (keyboard, balophone), John Beaulieu (keyboard, harmonica), George Quasha(percussion) and Charles Stein (voice, harmonica). Comprising of sound paired with visual components of drawings and videos, Axial Music follows a principle of spontaneous composition without the intention of honoring precedent or previous patterns. It is instead guided by a radical following of actual sounds generated; when successful, the sound event has a life independent of the musicians and produces an altered state of listening. 329 Broome Street.
