Artists Anna K.E., Alina Tenser, and Viola Yeşiltaç have personal relationships with performance, which possesses varying degrees of presence within—and relevance to—their respective practices. The works created for No entrance, no exit gesture toward an in-between space shared by art with audiences, one which is freed from the designations of beginning and end, instead suspending an implied or inherent performance in time, and collapsing the physical states of objects, bodies, and surfaces onto a single plane.
