Amidst the tension and intensifying climate of distrust between the police and the community, we are seeking to find a way to bridge the divides between us through theatre. 

Our goal is to create an open and honest dialogue between communities and those who are sworn to serve and protect them. 

This staged reading will feature a number short plays by various playwrights that will consider the diverse viewpoints on this issue and hopefully cause discourse on how a reconciliation between communities and law enforcement can be achieved. 

The plays will be followed by a open discussion led by a panel from different aspects of community such as law enforcement, community activist, etc.
