The New York Fashion Week Grand Finale Event Will Be Hosted by MTV Personality Lenay Dunn to Benefit Hope For Them Foundation in Partnership with New York Cares Organization.
[New York, NY], September 8, 2014 - Fashion for Charity Benefit: New York Fashion Week’s most highly anticipated star-studded grand finale, will light up the runway for all things fashionable and charitable to pay tribute to 9/11. The event will be generously hosted by MTV personality Lenay Dunn, with a special performance by Grammy Award-winning superstar Pras Michel of The Fugees. Fashion show headliner of the evening will feature renowned fashion designer Raul Penaranda; who was recently declared as “one of the fastest growing emerging fashion entrepreneurs” by Forbes Magazine. The show stopping charity event will close out fashion week on Thursday, September 11th, from 7:30PM – 11PM at Stage 48, 605 West 48th Street, New York, NY 10036.
Speaking of fashionable and charitable, Mike Jean, Founder of Hope For them Foundation has always remained at the frontline when it comes to bringing New Yorkers together and giving back to those in need. “I look forward to this special tribute to honor those we lost, while showcasing some of New York’smost innovative and creative talents within the fashion industry,” says Mike Jean. Fashionable talents making their mark includes: Luxury Footwear Designer Tania Spinelli and Celebrity Jewelry Designer Meredith Marks whose coveted pieces have been worn by Courtney Cox and Charlize Theron.
Produced by The Eclat Group; the charity benefit event is primed to be entertaining, glamorous and well-attended. Confirmed guest list attendees includes: Theodore Leaf - star of Secret Guide to Fabulous,Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola (J-Wow), Ramona Singer- star of the Real Housewives of New York and Celebrity Photographer Patrick McMullan.
