Julius Caesar is said to have scoffed on that fateful day in 44 BCE, but the prophesy was fulfilled when Caesar was stabbed 23 times. The incident has been celebrated in painting, film, theatre, and opera. Tonight, The NAC observes the Ides of March with a costume soirée evoking ancient Rome.
Come dressed in classic Roman attire and mark the transition from the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire. 8 to 10 enjoy DJ Holosound. From 10 PM until midnight, dance and enjoy the sounds of a live jazz ensemble.
