The slow-lalia performance is not a dance, is not choreographed, is not composed, but is a catalyst and a junction maker of all the above enacted in the Last Brucennial exhibition space. It is a momentum of particular body structures merged with n'tillit sculptures to facilitate a collaborative experimentation with open-ended results. It is based on the idea that exhibition spaces need not only to involve the display of objects but also cosplaying people.

It is a ritual of our senses in space to engage with n'tillit wearable sculptures, which embrace the surrounding and alter our perspectives. Trust on the body's capacity of slowing down and of being in space as an elemental experience. This performance is not subordinated to a predetermined vision besides slowing down the speed of movement and reminding the performer and audience alike of being in specific place for a yet unrealized project.

slow-lalia will be produced in space interdependent of its audience at the moment and the performers actual state of being!
Looking forward to seeing you there!

n'tillit was founded by Natalia Roumelioti in 2010 and is a project based design‐art studio dedicated to a passion for creating wearable sculptures and mixed media installations while focusing on the intermediate space that surrounds the body. The motto is that the "body is the site". Each sculpture is unique and crafted as a one‐off design for a specific context and body aiming to uncover new perspectives of being in the space. The old and the new in conjunction with the handcrafted and the high‐tech fabricated add to her fascination in exploring new possibilities of design.

It’s time to start the conversation.

You are invited to join us for an inspiring evening of art, discussion, and great food. Ray Ferrer - Artist & Rhian Ferrer are world-renowned American artists known for their work with spray paint and hand cut stencils. Our show is designed to depict how mental illness indiscriminately impacts all of our lives. Join us as we profile portraits of love, loss, triumph, tragedy, hope, and acceptance.

The Benny Fund strives to ensure that mental illness is not whispered about, but instead spoken about openly. Mental illness, and its associated stigma, is real and those who are impacted should be treated with compassion, understanding, and care. Our mission is to support our communities through mental health advocacy and to remember a caring and loving man through the Benjamin J. Neiweem Memorial Scholarship.

We will be selling copies of our book Our Naked Lives: Essays from Gay Italian American Menat the 2014 The Rainbow Book Fair
