| "Simple Things," a new web series created by Anthony Marinelli, is a pulp/noir/thriller about a mild-mannered suburban florist (Rick Schneider) whose simple life becomes very complicated when he meets a dark, mysterious woman (Amanda Greer) and her menacing husband (Joseph Cassese).
The series consists of 8 episodes and also features John Reoli, Jillian Gottlieb, and Peter Evangelista.
This event is being held to kick-off a fundraising campaign with the goal to begin production in June, 2014. "Simple Things" is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts services organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Writer/director, Anthony Marinelli, and the entire cast of "Simple Things" will be on hand for a Q&A after a screening of his and Angelo Berkowitz's short film, "Walt Whitman Never Paid For It," featuring "Simple Things" cast members Amanda Greer and Joseph Cassese.
