BORiSS Miroshnikov is Self Made and All Original
I’m totally fascinated by my friend BORiSS’s style. His is a look all his own made up of items found and gifts from friends. Perfect for his punk rock aesthetic! He described how he has made his clothing by repurposing items in his blog post:
I hung out with him for his birthday earlier this month. He wore his signature cut out insert exposed gloves with blue and green leather bracelets stamped Berlin loves NYC, his overall like suspenders made into a vest, and a black mesh top with black sequined backing. His shoes were so awesome! They were a gift from our friend and famed fashion designer,Louda Larrain, from her couture collection in Paris. They’re black and pointy men’s dress shoes which he cut the back of to make them sandal-like, and he added a series of staples along the inner sides of each shoe near the arch. It looks really cool!
Here’s another pic of the pants from West Africa that he received from a friend that he wore at a fundraiser in February. The striped shirt is Vintage Cacherel.
