Job Description:
The Bauer Teen and Entertainment Groups seek an experienced digital Sales Executive to leverage and sell our network of Teen (J-14, Twist and M) and Entertainment (In Touch and Life & Style) sites. This unique opportunity provides a leadership role overseeing and strategizing all national digital accounts while consulting and advising the integrated sales teams. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience selling digital advertising as well as knowledge of selling multiplatform ad programs. He or she must be able to creatively formulate and pitch custom concepts and should have existing digital agency and client relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Harness the unique brand qualities of our individual and combined sites in selling digital advertising
- Work with the national integrated sales team, in the creation of cross platform advertising/marketing programs including print, online, mobile, event, and social media elements
- Lead in response to all digital RFP’s
- Work with senior management to create and steer the vision and strategy of our advertising revenue goals and metrics
- Engage in all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to developing customer rapport, onto closing business and servicing accounts
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key digital advertising and buying agencies
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience selling online advertising and integrated programs; recent online sales experience required
- Strong knowledge of the digital agency market with relationships at both agency and client a must
- Comfortable with selling promotions and integrated partnership programs beyond banner advertisements
- Have experience and knowledge of the mobile advertising landscape and be able to integrate this into the selling efforts
- Candidate must be detail oriented, as well as both written and verbally articulate
- A self starter who possesses high energy, solid presentation, creative and analytical skills
- A positive team presence and team collaborator
- The ability to multi task
- Proficient at Power Point and Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills internally as well as externally
