SPECIAL EVENTS AT G91 Loft

March 17th, Sunday:

5 PM  With a performance by Mitsuru Kamijo Edo Ito Ayatsuri (Edo Marionette) presented by J-Collabo Organization. (Suggested donation $20.00)

March 20th, Wednesday:

7 PM  The second installation of the Charity Event, Design Saves Lives

8 PM  With a performance by Satomi Shiroma Kaoshi Performance (makeup master) presented by J-Collabo Organization. (Suggested donation $20)

There are only 8 traditional artists left. She is one of the 8. Design Saves Lives is an event to raise funds for Japan's recovery effort, focusing on helping designers and artists who are struggling to restore their creative environment and revive traditional local craft making. Products from these affected artists and from the first Design Saves Lives event will be sold.

3月17日 (Sun):

5 PM 上条充氏による「江戸糸あやつり人形」パフォーマンス presented by J-Collabo Organization.

十本を超える糸と「手板」という道具であやつる独自の構造を持ち、生命感あふれる息遣いを生み出す日本独自の人形芝居をご覧いただけます。 (Suggested donation $20.00)

3月20日 (Wed):

7 PM Design saves Lives 2nd Charity Event

8 PM 顔師デモンストレーション

Design Saves Livesは　3.11で甚大な被害を被り、未だ援助が必要なアート・クラフト被災地復興のために基金を募るイベントです。窯や創作環境を元の状態に戻すことに苦戦しているデザイナーやアーティストを援助すること、また伝統工芸品作りを蘇らせることが目的とした活動を行っています。チャリティーで販売される作品は影響を受けたアーティストと前回のDSLから出品されます。

又、J-Collaboの協力により、日本に8人しかいないと言われる顔師のお一人、城間里美氏のデモンストレーションが行われます。顔師は歌舞伎役者や日本 舞踊家に化粧を施す人のことで、役者の個性を生かして顔を作る様子をご覧いただけます。
