As expressed by its title, Retuning Reality features six artists from across North America who share the common interest of tweaking reality. The featured artists are painters Alex Bierk, Stephanie Buer, Kevin Peterson and Jeff Ramirez, sculptor Richard Haden and mixed media artist Jason A. Maas. Each artist's approach to art making is steeped in tradition but the way they see, interpret and communicate their respective disciplines transcends the expected pictorial response thereby creating a new and dynamic visual lexicon steeped in reality.
