Here is the most updated info on the three kitties who urgently need fostering - or adopting of course.
The back story again is that these cats were orphaned when their devoted rescuer/caregiver mom passed away suddenly at which time the cats were taken to city shelter. This amazing network helped to get them out of the shelter where they might not have survived and now is trying to place them in good homes.
They've been through a lot to say the least and even a short-term foster would be awesome. Some of the cats have already - happily! - been adopted. We just need to place these 3 beauties.
If anyone you know is interested please let me know and I'll put them all in touch.

Thanks so much!
Needs forever home and/or foster:
Larry aka Lorenzo: small charcoal colored cat
hip/back leg problem, approx 2 years old.
Found in Bronx in 2010. Ear surgery (Bulla = tympanic bulla = middle ear cavity) done on each ear by dr. Cotter. Sweet cat. Problem with his hips and hind legs. Movement has improved dramatically. He now can run (awkwardly) and jump onto low lying objects. Great , friendly personality
Laurie aka Lucia - black, scar on inner ear, approx 2 years old
Lucia was a bit more difficult. She was very frightened at first and preferred to remain in a cage. Allowed Michelle to pet her and, sometimes, pick her up. She is still timid and may need work on socializing. Laurie/Lucia had the second ear surgery April 2012 by Dr Cotter (Bulla = tympanic bulla = middle ear cavity)

Needs forever home and foster:
Randy aka Roger- black/white, kitten, longer hair, 8 months
adorable and very sweet.
He was dumped with a colony under the GW bridge but, given his behavior, was taken care of prior to that. Michelle said he was a lovable, affectionate kitty and best buds with Axel.
