Filmed over three years, Facing up to Mackintosh charts the design and construction of the new design school, now named the Reid Building, and explores how a building can affect the people working in it.
The film was completed just weeks before a tragic fire destroyed parts of the Mackintosh building including the iconic library, which was the inspiration for the Reid Building.
