The holiday season is upon us and it is a very captivating time of year filled with lights, music, laughter and incredible events.

On Saturday, December 12th, Night of Moves featuring Riya Mani Kapoor and Sara Mani Kapoor packed the house at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater. 

The evening was presented by Director and Choreographer, Guru Swati Bhise' complete with a live Carnatic Orchestra and Jazz Quartet as well.

Twin sisters, Riya and Sara performed Bharantanatyam, an ancient dance form first described in the Natya Shastra nearly two thousands years ago and it still very popular today.

Swati Bhise' was originally trained by the legendary Sonal Mansingh.

 Swati is a TV show host, actress, scriptwriter in addition to being a fixture at Lincoln Center. The Kapoor sisters are both 15 years old and sophmores at Trinity School in New York City.
