White Box invites you to celebrate the coming of an end to the Mayan calendar and the birthday of two remarkable, seminal artists that have left an imprint in the new media art and music world: Ms. Arleen Schloss and Mr. Joel Chadabe. As part of the series WITHIN ZERO: White Box Salutes John Cage in honor of Cage's 2012 Centennial, the event will kick off at 7pm with an interactive presentation by Igor Molochevski, entitled Wave Symphony (Telemetry of the Rising Waters), and continue with live music by Fates (100 M records) along with three special screenings of Ms. Schloss' How She Sees It (1983), Glenn Branca's Symphony No. 4: Physics (1984), and I.D. It's Dance Laser A - Z (1987).
