The United Nations Forum on Forests Secretariat in collaboration with the Gabarron Foundation are pleased to present 21 award-winning photographs that capture the unique and dynamic relationship between forests and the people who depend on them.
Over 400 entries from 39 countries competed to win the Forest Photograph Award. Young Students vied with professional nature photographers to showcase a personal and often extraordinary perspetive of forests. An international jury of lauded photographers and industry experts selected best of the best.
