Our friends at The Actors Fund sent a tip on an affordable housing opportunity in Fort Green/Downtown Brooklyn.
If you make at least $28,835 a year,
you may qualify for an affordable apartment by applying through the NYC Lottery Program.

The Lower East Side Printshop is accepting applications for The Keyholder Residency,
where emerging artists are provided with a year-long free studio to develop new work and explore printmaking.

Culture Push's Fellowship for Utopian Practice is looking for highly interactive projects that engage the public and push boundaries of how art can exist in the world.
Selected fellows receive $1,000 Honoraria.

In the past week, we received two new, temporary spaces for artists to activate.
- A former restaurant in West Midtown, Manhattan
- A large open floor in Sunset Park, Brooklyn
Artists who have applied for space within the past year are automatically considered as we begin to schedule artists into the space within the upcoming weeks.
We also welcome artists to submit new ideas or tips for a potential project in either space by emailing a paragraph description to programming@chashama.org. A
ll ideas are welcome (site-specific performance, showcase, installation, film, event, rehearsals, etc.).
Artists can submit 1-2 images to accompany the paragraph description.
Only artists who are contacted after emailing a description will be required to submit a full proposal.
